The roller ball and optics are now outdated since you will control your cursor with the trackball and the cursor is controlled by your thumb.

Additionally, this mouse still has the same functions as your conventional mouse like the click buttons and wheel, so you will not have to get used to a new way of using the mouse other than the trackball. You will, nevertheless, be able to do things much simpler with the additional programmable buttons. An additional feature that is included is the back and forward buttons making surfing the Internet even better. Logitech actually thought of everything when it built this mouse.

One more thing I wanted to bring up is the life of the battery. The mouse works on 1 AA battery, but the best part is you won’t be replacing the battery each week because the battery can last up to 18 months. Apparently, the battery life is based on how much you use your computer. If you happen to be one of those individuals who use your computer daily, all day, only having to change the battery every few months is still astounding.

While the average optical mouse can run you between $20 and $30, the fact that this much improved mouse just sells for $45 is another thing that is rather amazing. I am certain you can see the value of this new and improved wireless mouse.
